(May. 16, 2003) *”Bowling for Columbine” filmmaker Michael Moore has just signed a deal with Miramax for the release of his next documentary, “Farenheit 911.”
The film will reportedly show connections between the Bush families and Osama Bin Laden’s family.
According to the New York Post, the documentary was originally at Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions in a deal signed by Gibson’s partner, Bruce Davey. But Gibson withdrew from the deal when he found out saying he wanted no part of it because of the potential for controversy.
And that's exactly what's happened. A conservative group is threatening a boycott of all Walt Disney products and services. That's because Miramax is owned by Disney. The irony is that the company's founder, Walt Disney, was an arch conservative
