Michael Cook saga

"He says he is not superstitious, but thinks it is worth noting the case number 666."

Taken at face value, the story sounds very f'd up, however I'd like to see some more info from a less biased source.

edit: That he used his alleged 30 seconds in front of the doctor to say 9/11 was an inside job gives a clue that he's at least certifiably stupid.

"At the hospital, Dr. Petit saw me for 30 seconds or less and diagnosed me as Paranoid Schizophrenic. About all I got to say was, 9/11 was an inside job.

Can't find any serious source, but here a reference to Cook from Kevin Barrett.

Sadly for Barrett, Teh 28th Annual Stundie Awards didn't exist last year. :(

ETA: reading the quotes greyleonard gives, Cook also would have been quite a contender for a Stundie.

Don't a lot of places in the States have laws against guns on school property, even the parking lots?

So some guy tells his TA that he carries a gun, which he shows to her, and implies it's because he's in some unspecified "danger" because of his beliefs about 9/11 - and he's surprised she reported him as a paranoid nutcase?

And then he goes on to make comments about the president being tried and executed just prior to a presidential visit, and he's surprised the Secret Service pays him a visit, and has him watched?

How dumb do you have to be?

A. lie. Kentucky, like most states, has a database so the public can check a teacher's credentials. Two Michael Cooks have teaching certification in Kentucky. Both are in good standing. Teachers with suspended and revoked credentials are kept in the database (for obvious reasons).

His guns have twice confiscated by the Gubmint? As in returned to him at least once?
 
He got them back them first time:

So, the secret service came to see me. The dude from Wa. D.C. was pretty cool, and wrote down the titles of Griffin's books (neither of them would take any DVDs). The local dude, Kevin Tierney (Tyranny for me :-) was a prick. They took all my firearms.

After Bush was gone, on 5/24, I went to my local police station and got them back.
