I have reserved a room for Csicon in Las Vegas this October. (Male, 58, pretty fair-minded and well-mannered.) If you want to go in on it with me, let me know, and we'll figure things out. Great way to cut your expenses in half (or even more, depending on how many of us end up sharing it.) Need roomies who won't steal the towels, break the furniture, or get us thrown out prematurely.

I could be that roommate! I assume you reserved a room in Excalibur, right?

Is it 2 separate beds? Because I will demand 2 separate beds.

And, the only other demand is no smoking in the room...

...other than the obvious things like not being an axe murderer, etc.

I am not exactly a fan of the Excalibur, myself. But, since that is the hotel of CSIcon, I would be convenient to stay there.
Maybe, if I am lucky, they will still have the SpongeBob statue I can visit, for a while.

Wowbagger Welcome

Wowbagger, you're more than welcome, because we've roomed together before and it's always worked out. However, I booked my room along with my flight to save some money, and it is not clear that there will be more than one bed. But I know we've always worked this out satisfactorily before. One caveat is that I am not staying till Monday, so the room is Wed.-Sat. nights only. I don't know exactly how much it will be, because I think they don't charge the site fee until you check in. But at least you're paying only 50%, and you're getting a roomie of known value. So write and confirm when possible, because I think we should keep the population down to me, thee, and no more than one more, and then only if we get a taker. What say?
