Here's a new letter to the editor in the Northwest Indiana Times about Sylvia Browne:
Could Sylvia Browne predict I would write this letter?

Sylvia Browne at the Star Plaza on Nov. 9. I can hardly wait!

Perhaps during her lecture she will use her psychic abilities and explain why, in 2003, she told the parents of Shawn Hornbeck that their son was dead and then four years later police found him alive.

Maybe Browne’s inner voice will enlighten us as to why Christopher Reeve of Superman fame died six months after her prediction of April 2004 that the paralyzed Reeve would have electrodes implanted in him.
...
Perhaps Browne will explain why 11 years after she agreed to be tested for the JREF Million Dollar Challenge, she still refuses to follow through on her agreement.

Perhaps people who are thinking of going to see her might do a little research like I did at www.StopSylvia.com.

Most likely, Browne will leave Merrillville laughing all the way to the bank.

"I can hardly wait!" Wow! Will these idiots ever learn what a horrible cold reader she is?

Did you stop reading at that line? It's quite clear that was sarcastic if you read the rest of the letter.

Are you referring to the parts where the author of the letter first hopes Sylvia Browne will use her "psychic" abilities during her lecture and then hopes Sylvia Browne will enlighten her audience using her "inner voice"?

Well that's nice to see for a change. Well written too. Thanks for posting it QG.

Yes, that part is sarcastic too. Even out of context I would think those sentences are sarcastic.

The sarcasm, it is strong in this letter. The reference to StopSylvia.com was a dead giveaway.

Very gratifying, although I think the part about her Christopher Reeve prediction could have been worded better (his death alone did not negate a prediction that he would have electrodes put into him. perhaps he died after electrodes were put in).
