I finally caught the show on the Science Channel about Leo's Machines and his life. Very cool. I thought the parachute would work, it did. I thought the tank would work, it did. I didn't think the UBA(underwater breathing apparatus) would work, it did! I want one! I learned very much more about this amazing man than I knew before. The tragic thing was none of his ideas impacted history. These things were only invented three and four centuries after his death, or in the case of medical observations, all the way to early last century. Fools say religion/superstition causes no harm, yeah, sure it doesn't. If there's one consolation, it's that if his inventions and medical observations wouldn't have been forgotten, no one alive, none of use would have ever existed. History had to have happened just the way it did for we specific people to exist.
