There is a thread at LC regarding the Dawson College shooting in Montreal. The first post (by an entrenched CTist) does a very nice job quoting all the conflicting (and mostly wrong) initial reports from "eye witnesses".

Loose Change Forum->Loose Change Lobby->The LC Lounge Montreal Shooter, following this?

Now someone reading that post might note the how initial reports by those in a traumatic situations are often different than what is eventually found to be actually true. Someone who bases their theories on initial reports may see this and begin to wonder if that is such a good idea.

Where I work, "lessons learned" is a very import part of project management. Do you think any LC people will learn anything from the lesson "broodlinger" unwittingly just provided?

If you operate under the assumption that Loose Change is a business that thrives on sensationalism and the ignorance of its customers, it makes perfect sense.

I don't know that this is the case, just one possibility.
