E-mail is getting to be so unreliable, I thought I'd post this here as well. The schedule got completely munged. :(

Ahoy!

The summer is upon us, and the Amaz!ng Adventure is getting closer every day. I have some important information for you...

I don't have e-mail for everyone who's attending, so please be sure your cabin mate sees this.
  • We'll be sailing with a very diverse group of about 70 people from several different countries.
  • Ages run from the 20's to the 70's.
  • There are about a dozen folks from the forum as well as many who've attended a TAM or two.
  • The state with the highest per capita attendance: Vermont!
  • You will have all morning Monday the 28th in Fort Lauderdale. What to do?
    • Most hotels will grant a late checkout for the asking

Here's a checklist of things you should have done or be doing soon:
  • Arrange for flights, if needed. The airport code is FLL. If you're leaving Florida on September 2nd, try to book flights after 11:00am. That will give you plenty of time to disembark and go through customs.
  • Arrange for hotel on the night of August 27th if you're attending the Bon Voyage party at the JREF.
  • US residents, gather your Birth Certificate or Passport (recommended)
  • International folks, you'll need your Passport.
  • Register online with Royal Caribbean (This greatly speeds up check-in time)
    • Click here to begin the process.
      • The sail date is August 28th, 2006.
      • The name of the ship is Enchantment of the Seas
      • Your reservation number was sent to you when you booked. If you don't have it, send me e-mail.
  • If you're going to wear a tux or gown on formal night (many are!) and you want to rent for delivery on-board, visit http://www.cruiselineformal.com and get your order in.

And some things I need from you:

  1. Please tell me via e-mail how you'd like your name to appear on the printed certificates. Each passenger will have their own certificate (unless you tell me otherwise). If I don't hear from you, I'll take my best guess.
  2. Please RSVP if you're going to attend the Bon Voyage party at the JREF. I need a general idea for numbers.

MEALS:
Breakfast and Lunch you can have wherever you'd like (don't forget free room service!). We'll be having dinner each night at 8:15 with Randi, Michael Shermer, Banachek and Hal Bidlack. Seating is assigned for dinner. I hope to have the speakers rotate so that they can spend time with as many guests as possible. There is a show in the main showroom each night for the entire ship.

SCHEDULE: Every day aboard, you'll receive a schedule of the day's activities. There is a LOT to do. You will not have a chance to do everything. Below, you'll find the schedule of ports and JREF-only activities.
