Kurious Kathy's DNA research thread

In another thread, Kurious Kathy has claimed that "DNA research" somehow opposes evolution:

All I know is in school I never believed Darwinism was right. It just never sat well with me as truth. And now the more I know about it DNA research does not hold up in this theory. All I know is my ancestor isn't an ape!

What do you know about DNA research, can you expand on what about DNA research goes against evolution?

As it would be off-topic in that thread, I've started this one so that Kathy can explain how "DNA research" opposes evolution.

Why bother? She has never once shown any understanding concerning science or DNA.
I have no problem stating that KK lied like she always does to support her preaching.

She probably saw "Expelled" or Ben Stein takling about the movie like he did on Pat Robertson's show where Ben ridiculously claimed that evolution makes less sense now that we know so much about the inner workings of the cell because molecular biology supports the concept of "irreducible complexity".

It's going to come as quite a shock when she discovers she, like every other person, actually is an ape.

She is not particularly knowledgeable about her own cherry-picked version of her beloved scriptures - why would anyone think she has any worthwhile knowledge about, well, anything.

Lying for Jesus is all she knows and, I suspect, all she will ever know.

KK is the poster child for indoctrinated wilful ignorance.

IMHO she believes she is carrying a torch for her religion but totally oblivious to the fact that with almost every post she shines a bright light on all that is repugnant about organised religion.

She is one of my favourite posters and one of the best missionaries for atheism we have.




BTW, KK, I would be fascinated to discover what observable characteristics you would accept to define exactly what an ape is, as opposed to, say, an ass?
