Killtown vs. 911debunker debate has begun!

Rounded thumped on the first question will Killtown manage to come back from this? Will Killtown continue after this blow? Will Killtown score on the next question?

Stay tuned,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Rounded thumped on the first question will Killtown manage to come back from this? Will Killtown continue after this blow? Will Killtown score on the next question?

He's just posted there.

That's a distinct "no."

I mean, really... Jet hits ground at 580 knots. A big piece of debris is found... 300 meters away. Ooooh, that's so far. Perhaps if you express that distance in terms of "football fields," he'll begin to grasp it; that seems to be the only unit of length he's comfortable with.

Anyway, have fun with the human pinata. Just don't let him wear you out with his repeated idiocy. That seems to be his only defense.

i dont know why people think that 300 meters is "far". .. if you watch football every sunday (or monday or thursday), you'd realize that its not that far at all (that is if you run a football field three times)

a car accident here was so devastating that the victim landed 80 yards from where the vehicle impacted her (she died on impact). And that's a car that was traveling at far less than 500 mph.

Great start, and I'm sure you don't need my advice on this, chippy, but don't let him get away with doing nothing but "asking questions". He'll do that for as long as he can get away with it and try to derail the entire debate into inanities, because that's all he ever does.

Be sure to stick to the format agreed upon and be sure to call him on his attempts to obfuscate and his attempts to devolve the debate into nothing more than him JAQing off.

And have fun!

nice start...keep up the good work. dont let him deviate from one topic to another (another tactic he uses). if he goes astray, kindly put him back on the path, until he gives you an answer.

Oh dear. Killtown is SO sad. So VERY sad. One tonne = 850lbs?

No, 1 tonne = 1000 kilograms; 1kg = 2.2lbs; therefore 1 tonne = 2,200lbs. Compared to an imperial ton of 2240lbs, they are very close to being the same mass. Hence the name "tonne", you idiot!

And I would expect the fan of a jet engine the size of a 757 would indeed by about a tonne in weight. Look at the size of them compared to a human. Clearly Killtown has no idea of size or scale.

The only bit of advice I can give that hasn't been given is to make sure he posts PROPER SOURCES (I.e, no american free press) and proper proof to back up his assertions. Don't let him dodge questions.

And remember: You're debating with someone only marginally more intelligent than a can of soda. It might be useful to keep this in mind.

edit: Here's an example:

I believe the "tonne" they are talking about wieghs about 850lbs

chippy started a comment thread if you would like to place that correction for Killtown in there.

One Tonne = 850 Pounds

I'm still trying to figure out where Val McClatchey's favorite stalker pulled that one out from... It appears he doesn't understand any units at all.

The only thing I can figure is that somewhere, somebody read that 1 short ton = about 850 kg, and he totally transposed that in his head.

Hey, at least he asked for someone to correct him this time. That's real progress where this golden boy is concerned.

I sincerely doubt that it's a killer response for chippy, and I'm sure there are hundreds of watchers of that thread who know this data too and are just cringing. It's merely indicative of the intellect chippy has to compete with lower his standards to.

Classic start by Killtown. Although he daren't say it, he seems to think that 850lbs of engine parts constitutes an intact engine. Obviously he didn't even read the document you posted... "Weight (dry) 9420 pounds"

Of course if you point that out, he'll deny that was ever his claim. Just asking questions remember...
