Feel free to post your reasons -- which I'm sure will be logical given the nature of this forum.

Edit: If I knew I couldn't edit my poll I'd have taken more time to not make mistakes (bush/candidate etc)

On second thought, PLEASE post a comment so as to keep the poll within the active page for a few days.

How about this: Post your number 1 reason only. Keep it simple.

I'm a citizen, I'm leaning toward Bush.

My number one reason: He's not Kerry.

My number one reason: It is my opinion that the policies of the Republican party hurt my family less than the policies of the Democratic party.

But it's so difficult when there are so many reason to not vote for Bush.
Okay, Bush is a religous zealot and anti-science (okay that's two) and he's anti-abortion even to the point of letting women die because of it (yeah, that's three and this one is really related to the first, but I feel they are all important)
I'm not yet a citizen.

Your primary reason is noted.

Still I thought you might find a bit of humor in Webster's definition of zealot

Main Entry: zeal·ot
Pronunciation: 'ze-l&t
Function: noun
Etymology: Late Latin zelotes, from Greek zElOtEs, from zElos
1 capitalized : a member of a fanatical sect arising in Judea during the first century A.D. and militantly opposing the Roman domination of Palestine

HEhe.

Citizen, leaning towards Kerry.

The SNL jokes about Bush are getting kinda tired. I'd like to see what the writers could do with 4 years of Kerry now.

I'm really starting to like your posts. I'm thinking about nominating you for the August Language thingee.

You should watch the Daily Show.

US Citizen. For Kerry.

He's not ideal but he's clearly smarter and more reasonable than Bush. His proposed economic policies are more sound. His corporate ties are not as odious. He doesn't have a criminal background. The Republican labels of "waffler" and "soft on terror" don't really have any merit.

Please, people, think twice before voting for Bush. I voted for him in 2000, and won't be fooled again. Country before party.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Rob.

Gram,

I can count on Stewart and the gang to be funny through any administration, so that's a non-issue for me this campaign year.

Who voted for the 'other'? I'd love to hear the number one reason.

Pretty please with a cherry on top.

U.S. citizen, for Kerry.

He's not Bush, God doesn't tell him to do anything apparently, Dubya's "tax cuts" %#$@ed me over by a few hundred $$, Dubya doesn't seem big on the science, and he and his Administration has apparently #$@%ed over Afghanistan in order to play with Daddy's old nemesis.

Also, I can't decide if he's as dumb as he seems or he's wicked smart and is playing dumb.

Because I am too young to vote, I am going to go to Planet X and vote for shemp.

Leaning toward Kerry.

Bush characteristics (in no particular order) that torque me the most:

Arrogant
Condescending
Picked Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld
Born with silver foot in mouth
Not to be trusted
Fundie
Anti-science
Does not seem to understand Bill of Rights

Kerry characteritics that lead me to favor him over Bush:
Not Bush.

It was me. The reason I am looking to vote for another candidate, Badnarik most likely, is because he is the only candidate that is going to recognize more of my human and individual rights whereas Kerry and Bush are looking to take [some of] them away.

Thanks! Here's your cherry!

Edit: Remember, cherry goes on top.

US Citizen.

Voting for Badnarik.

(whom you call 'other' on your damn poll. You ought to AT LEAST have Badnarik and Nader on your poll for it to be remotely accurate.)
