From time to time, over many years, I've soaked my sore feet in very warm water & a packet of this product (which says that it "Has Relieved Millions of Feet Since 1870"). Lately I've added two packets occasionally to my tub soak.
The ingredients state only Borax, Iodide & Bran. Although I swear I feel better after such foot/tub soaks vs. just plain water, I have to wonder if there are, in fact, any "medicinal" properties to this product.
One thing not in question is its ability to clean a bathtub quite nicely...perhaps the Borax??
