The Jesus Racing ministry of the the Jesus All about life campaign has now been running for 18 months. In that time, Andrew Fisher has developed the concept to where he is now in demand almost every weekend and through the week to speak at schools, churches and conferences about racing a V8 Ute and being a Christian.

Here's how Andrew describes how he came up with the idea ....

"I was recently challenged as to whether I simply carry my Christianity as a back pack or whether I really pick up my cross each day.This caused me to think about why I am involved in motor racing and what impact I make for the Kingdom. With this in mind I thought it would be a great idea to put a fish on the back of the race car to show that I am a Christian! My wife challenged me and said well if you really want to make a statement why don't you promote Jesus. All about life all over the car, "that will let them know where you stand"!

These people are coming to give a talk at the school tomorrow, any suggestions that won't get me fired?

I find it hard to imagine Jesus racing a V8 Ute...
 
Stock car racing? :( Shoot. I was expecting a dozen guys in robe and sandals dragging crosses uphill, flogged by centurion-coaches.

I think they wanted to do this, but were worried about drug cheats.

Maybe I'll ask him about letting Jesus take the wheel and if the Messiah knows how to avoid over-steering...
 
Needs someone driving for Muhammed. Could turn out to be one of the greatest Bathurst rivalries.
 
I'm just sitting here imagining the artwork on the cars of Team Cthulhu...
