Jenny McCarthy was on Jay Leno's show tonight and she was wearing a shirt that read "Indigomoms.com." I wondered if it meant what I thought it meant, so I just stopped by her website. Yep! She's into the indigo nonsense. Her site says that her 3 year old is a crystal child. It also says that, "Most children today are Indigos." So if everyone is above average, then no one is.:p

The site also says that crystals are the children of the indigos. So I suppose McCarthy sees herself as an indigo if her son is a crystal. If being an indigo results in C-list celebrity status, then what are the A-list celebs? Super-indigos?

I see Jenny is going to be on the Howard Stern show this Tuesday, and will presumably be talking about this. That should be one worth tuning in for.

I know a woman who's convinced her son is an Indigo, because "a guy in town who can see auras" told her so. What her son actually is, is an obnoxious brat (and not the misunderstood-because-he's-too-smart type, but the just-plain-bratty type). I can't decide whether her belief in his Indigo-ness is an attempt at rationalizing his brattiness, or distracting herself from it.

My mom gave me Jenny McCarthy's pregnancy book, Belly Laughs, when I was pregnant. It was okay, but there was a part where I was horrified - she and her husband were driving to a friend's house up a long driveway when she was 8 months or so pregnant and she told him to hurry because she really, really had to pee, so he slowed down and insisted on explaining some building on the grounds to her (slowly). She finally climbed out of the slowly moving car and peed on the side of the driveway.

Thank goodness she divorced him. What a cruel sonofab***h. Who does something mean and petty like that?
 
Isn't Jenny McCarthy some slutty trashbag ho? I remember seeing pictures of her and thinking that she'd be a runner-up to Courtney Love in that category.
And what's an indigo child anyway? I am vaguely reminded of that Indigo Prophecy game. It sucked.
