AFAIK --- The total Palestinian-Arab population in the area bounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River is 5,224,000.

I'm surprised he didn't say Six Million, just for effect.

Where did he deny the Holocaust? He acknowledged it may have happened; he just hasn't seen convincing evidence. He's just keeping an open mind about it.

The guy is too damned slippery. He won't confirm or deny that Iran has/is trying to obtain nukes. He won't confirm or deny he believes the Holocaust was a hoax. He reminds me - in case I needed reminding - that it is a doctrine of Islam that lying to unbelievers is acceptable, even encouraged, in the neverending jihad.

really good interview....it deserves greater circulation - i'm surprised the BBC haven't picked up on it.......maybe they will tomorrow.....

But there are two opinions on this in Europe. One group of scholars or persons, most of them politically motivated, say the Holocaust occurred. Then there is the group of scholars who represent the opposite position and have therefore been imprisoned for the most part. Hence, an impartial group has to come together to investigate and to render an opinion on this very important subject, because the clarification of this issue will contribute to the solution of global problems.

This is the standout paragraph for me - holocaust denial couched in the softest of terms....
maybe a poor analogy, but it kinda reminds me of the ID position on evolution.....
