There must be a margin of error for the test. There always is. Isn't it more likely he was simply mis-diagnosed the first time?

And every 'reversal' I've heard about in Africa was the result of the idea that you can rid yourself of HIV by raping pre-teen girls. Just anecdotal evidence, and not something you'd hope would perpetuate. But it did.
