iChat disconnects from Gmail

Okay, so here's the problem. I have iChat set up to connect to Gmail and Yahoo chats. Occasionally my connection drops out and returns. Yahoo reconnects without a problem, but I can't reconnect Gmail unless I go to Preferences and disable-reenable the account.

Anyone seen anything similar? Got any ideas?

You can open console and check the logs. If you see errors related to ichat, you can just drag them over into google and see if anything turns up.

I prefer Adium to ichat, you might want to check out Adium, it's pretty awesome.

Or you could just install linux.

I've used Adium for messaging and IRC. Now, I actually prefer to use Colloquy and iChat.

Okay, I've enabled iChat logs. Let's see if anything comes up when it disconnects.
