If I didn't see it. At the Republican debate is South Carolina, Ron Paul got unanimous boo's for mentioning a Golden Rule inspired foreign policy, AND THEN! receives unanimous applause when he says "we don't need another war, we need to quit the ones we're in"

No to the Golden Rule, we don't need to treat other countries the way we want to be treated, but we DO need to stop bombing them.

Who in God's name BOO'S the Golden Rule?! You can't do it, you really can't. The Golden Rule might as well be the most un-boo'able thing ever, right next to saving babies from a burning hospital.

Maybe they were not paying attention and just mindlessly booing. In all fairness Republicans are pretty dumb, and South Carolina Republicans...

There's no room for doubt that the people in that room, at that time, were actually retarded for those 10 seconds at least. I hadn't realized that bouts of complete stupidity could actually occur in the same room...at the same time... I almost wish Ron Paul would test it. I want to see if people would applause him for resuscitating a pregnant woman on stage...and then immediately kicking her in her pregnant belly. I want to see which they boo and applause...

Think about it for a minute - every person in that room attended deliberately. Any excuse that starts with "I got lost and wound up at a South Carolina Republican debate" is a flat out lie. Every one of them cleaned up, dressed up, and traveled to be there in the room with Paul, Perry, Romney, Santorum and Whatsisname - and listen to what these guys had to say.

I see only two options: Either there were only about 5 brain cells to share among the entire audience or somebody's uncoordinated superPAC paid the audience to attend and they got bored and made a game of alternating cheers and boos.

Sadly that wasn't the most "retarded" moment IMO. That came when the moderator mentioned Romney's father was from Mexico, and the crowd began booing instantaneously.

Let's not forget that Paul has been booed for other horrible opinions, like saying we shouldn't just let a person with no insurance die.

I watched the video and neither the boos nor cheers were anywhere close to "unanimous".

I think it would be fun in a very immature way to show up at the other party's debates and boo really commendable things.

"He saved a puppy? BOOOOO! Let the puppies die!"

what? no way.... really?

I looked up a video where Romney got boo'd for the fact his dad was born in Mexico, but that wasn't nearly on the level of unanim..."saturation in the auditorium" that Ron Paul got for the Golden Rule thing.
