Now sort of rate yourself.
Do you have a fear of it? Is it what you would think is a normal fear or an irrational fear? Is it holding you back from accomplishing some things you might like to try?
Would you consider climbing some skyscraper by only your fingernails? Would you bungee jump over a gorge? Would you jump out of a plane?
Are such fears or even the sense of nerve/invincibilty hereditary?
What do you think about getting into an all-out brawl with someone?: Aren't you afraid that you might have to fight to the finish? Aren't you afraid that your adversary could punch you in the throat, or something and kill you and you would be dead, all over some stupid spat? Or...don't you even consider that, and just go ahead and duke it out?
Perhaps you have some interesting stories to share regarding experiences in your life.
Me? I'm the real cautious careful type. I won't do anything risky whatsoever. Maybe it's because I don't know what /where I'll wind up after I'm dead. But, do those who aren't afraid of risk really consider that? or is the force that drives them blocking that out?
I watch all these shows now that they have on cable and it blows my mind the things people are doing out there. It's to the point now that I am really starting to wonder what is going on. Like, is this some illusional form of entertainment put out there by the gods to just blow my mind? There are people out there subjecting themselves to serious possibilities of bodily injury, and yet they go ahead and do what they want to do.
I was watching that Jesse dude from the Monster garage, take this built-up truck that costs thousands in work to build...personally drive this thing up to the top of Pike's Peak, in some race, wi5th spectators cheering him on, with reckless abandon...even while he had broken bones from some previous accident...flying around non-railed curves, thousands of feet of sheer drop if he slid off the edge...and he came awfully close to the edge at times. Watching this is what caused me to think up this thread. *I* wouldn't even drive up that mountain at 5 miles per hour!!! I wouldn't even go! You should have saw the views as shot out of the cab of his vehicle while he was running his rig wide open! For-GET it!
