I just got meself a Palm lifedrive to replace my old ipaq 3950.
With this upgrade i have also come to develop some new requirements, all of them have been meet, except for one.
I can't get powerpoint supported on my palm.
One of my reason for the change to palm, was that i need it to work in linux, and while the ipaq sorta half worked(and it had other problems as well), the palm implementation is better, much better, than the pocketpc implementation.
I have Documents To Go, and it works with native word and excel support(which i use with openoffice anyways), but the native powerpoint support is read-only, unless i use the windows end of Documents To Go to convert it to its own format.
But since i use linux, that is not a viable solution.
So, either i need
1) an app that can do native ppt editing on the palm
2) an app to convert a SlideshowToGo ( or quickpoint for that matter) file to ppt, and back again.
And i have been able to find neither. and openoffice can't open the pdb file created by SlideshowToGo.
So, any solutions for little old me? or will i have to live without *sob* slideshow support on my palm.
Sincerely
A Barstard Commie
