The pro-troll motto is always some variation on "It's your fault for giving them attention."

You are the only one that I know of here making the claim that trolls should be debated with. The vast majority disagree of people disagree with you.

Unless you can prove that the "pro-troll motto" is what you claim it is I don't know what else to say. Believe what you want.

Re the thread title, hopefully "deeply disturbed" has been ruled out by now. As for has she made a difference? Yes, clearly by contributing to bringing the problem to everyone's attention which is where you have to start.

Greta Thunberg effect evident among Norwegian youthI suspect we can find similar data among a lot of groups like the media which now dedicates more time to the issue, to governments that have increased formal conferences and meetings, to the public at large, especially young people.

The thread itself is "disturbing". She hasn't saved the world so she's a failure or something like that. Seems very personal for some.

She's failed at achieving the clear goals she laid out. The only people taking it personally are those who insist on celebrating her effort as if it were successful.
