Greatest. Chiro. Claim. EVAR!

The Ohio State Chiropractic Board, in a notice of hearing, has accused James Burda of Athens of being "unable to practice chiropractic according to acceptable and prevailing standards of care due to mental illness, specifically, Delusional Disorder, Grandiose Type."

Gunderscored knows, we wouldn't want anyone to besmirch the noble calling of chiropractic.

You know you've hit rock bottom when a bunch of chiropractors call you mentally ill.

From his website:

"This healing system of vibrational manipulation works, but is not to be used as a sole medical remedy for any pain, discomfort or any other medical related situation. James Burda makes no medical claims to the efficacy of this treatment. However, the current experience points to the fact that vibrational manipulation works well to help reduce pain, numbness, tingling and other related musculoskeletal conditions. At this time, it is not known if it will relieve or change the course of fractures, heart attacks or other internal problems. If your pain or discomfort is not reduced or changed after at least three sessions please see your own personal allopathic, osteopathic or chiropractic physician or dentist."

I wonder how many people actually buy into this

Same amount of people that buy into, um, well...

My husband just ran into a neighbor who says a nearby chiropractor used this (Pap-IME? PAPIMI?) machine on her and it "worked" because all cells emit EM energy yada yada.

PAPIMI uses the natural ambient magnetic field of the Earth, (No Strong steady Magnetic Field, at all).

67year old woman treating simultaneously eyes, face and teeth
After two months she looks less than 45 years old.
Her teeth rejuvenate, she got rid her presbyopia glasses and cured her severe allergy and igmorites.
Notice the treated area is always off center, near the rim of the probe.

and other things like biofeedback machines...

Yeah, I don't know why they can figure she looks less than 45 in that pic (instead of 67) Yeesshhh, the power of suggestion just isn't working on me, nor you!

All of those years leaning over patients and popping their bones has obviously led to a major-league subluxation.

The poor fellow needs to see a chiropractor.

When the local chiroquack started selling detoxification treatments at $45 a 30 min session , for the Aqua Detox machine, I thought... "great now people will see for themselves just how much nonsense there is is this whole chiro thing,"
to my surprize it did not negativly affect his standing as a "real doctor" or affect his patient base. there are just as many people seeing him now as before he started selling "detoxification"- it helps the "flow of energy" by removing those pesky "toxins" don't c'ya know,
Now I beleive that people will buy anything, as long as it is a "doctor" selling it, with no critical analysis at all, and when I point out the sillyness of the whole chiro theory of "subluxation"- that have not been and can not be proven- they are not physical -and cannot be seen on an x-ray- they are "dynamic" don't c'ya know...
Why is what this quack is selling anymore or anyless incredible than the theory for chiropractic to begin with?
Since there is nothing scientific about subluxation , how would you go about proving that this guy cannot cure one from a great distance? remotely?
I think he will have the very same rate of sucess as any other chiro in treating a "subluxation"... he has just as much validity as the rest of these quacks, I find him no less and no more scientific than the chiro right down the street from my office....
