I know it's not in the latest commentary but, well, I only just around to reading it.

I saw this bit about Russel Grant's "Is your house haunted" list:

3. You feel or see furniture shake

and it reminded me of an experience I had a few years back when I worked in a recording studio. We were working one day and both my colleague and I felt uneasy for some unknown reason. After staring at each other for a few seconds we simultaneously felt a little shiver go up our backs, and it really freaked us out.

We waited a few seconds and it happened again. Then again. We rushed out to the office to see if anything was happening (we're not prone to earthquakes in Yorkshire), but they were oblivious.

It turned out that there was a building site about half a mile away, and they had a pile-driver which was hammering steel girders into the ground, striking the beam every few seconds. Our studio was built on a solid concrete block (apparently to aid soundproofing) so the vibrations were being transmitted directly up our chairs. It was only because of the quietness and concentration that we noticed it at all.

I'm sure I could have sold "I've felt the studio ghost" T-Shirts.
