John Edwards is the senator and vice-presidential candidate on the Democratic ticket. John Edward is the "psychic."
 
Ghost plumbers? I don't understand. Are they live people who look for ghosts in your toilet, or ghosts who fix your toilet?

Yeah - after sitting through "Proof Positive" I for some reason was a glutton for punishment and caught this too. My wife and I had a good laugh watching this together.

That last sound clip they played was too much. To my (admittedly amateur) ears all that was heard was the CLEAR sound of a door latch opening and a little girl asking "can I come in?" - this in a house with noisy doors and a little girl living there - DUH!

They were ooohing and ahhhing over the "mysterious noise" followed by the voice that according to the mother "is not my daughter's voice"

Yeah, right. It sure sounded like it to me........

What's the the difference between John Edward and John Edwards?

One's a smooth-talking scumbag who has made a career grifting millions out of people, and other other is a TV psychic.

What proof do you have that John Edwards swindled people out of their money? There are honest trial lawyers out there you know, and to impugn someone on the basis of them merely being a trial lawyer is very prejudicial and insulting. You might as well tell me how you think Jews are miserly, selfish moneylenders and blacks are all drug-dealing rappers while you're at it.

Jabs at laywers are same as racist or anti-semetic rehtoric? Gee, someone is in desperate need of a sense of humor, and it's not the folks who poke fun at John "Poster Child For Tort Reform" Edwards

P.S. I'm not voting for Bush, but I find Kerry just as repugnant.

I know a lot of people who would have said what you said with the greatest amount of sincerity. I'm sorry for taking it the wrong way. I'm just really uptight about the presidential race nowadays; Bush is, frankly, one of the most reckless leaders in the history of not only this country, but of human civilization in its entirety. His blunders are in a class all their own.

It's OK, don't sweat it.:D

I myself have been see-sawing back and forth over who I'm voting for. I just might have to hold my nose and vote Kerry while voting Republican for congress in order to re-establish the gridlock and obstructionism we need to keep either party from having their way. Either way, I'm going to feel dirty when I step out of the voting booth.

Or maybe I should just write in myself. At least I know I'll be voting for someone I agree with.
