The Sun, that UK newspaper that upholds the fine tradition of journalism (not) has an exclusive story, plus the actual video, of an apparent ghost that says "I'm Alive" over footage of an 8 week old baby.

To me, it sounds like a bad voice over added in after the video was shot. Note that all background noise ceases when the "ghost" says "I'm Alive".

Curious to hear what the rest of you think.

This one's a let down. I was expecting the voice to be spookier.

With a quick viewing, I can't really tell if it's overdubbed or if the not-so-spooky "ghost" is the camera operator. But, yes, as you said it's funny how the background noise inexplicably diminishes (completely? I couldn't tell because it's obscenely early so I've got the sound turned down a bit.)

Either way it's pretty lame. Could make for a dumb internet meme, though.

Maybe its not a ghost. Maybe the kid reincarnated and the spirit in the baby said that. NOT. I used to love a good ghost story. Too bad they don't exist.

I feel the same way. I love a good ghost story and ghosts are one thing I really wish existed.

If it said "I'm alive" and it's a ghost, it's a lying ghost! Or merely mistaken.

In any case, there's plenty of noise leakage, and there's no actual "V" sound. It sounds closer to "I'm a lie." Or just some nonsense syllables-- the type you might burble to a baby without really thinking about it.

I'm guessing accidental sound contamination. The mama whispered something to the baby while filming her and forgot about it.

On the other hand, it does sound pretty cheesy...
