Getting fed at TAM 7

Since there seem to have been a few discussions in various threads regarding meet-ups for the meals not provided as part of the conference, I thought I would try to organize this a little better. So far, we have suggestions for a Tuesday evening dinner at the 777 Brewery downtown, sushi, and various trips to the Peppermill.

If you have other suggestions, or would like to try to organize an expedition, here is the place to do so.

Tuesday, 7PM (at the 777 Brewery at the Main Street Station casino downtown).

Thursday lunch at Ichiban Japanese restaurant at Bally's. I plan on meeting up at the South Pointe around 11:00 am and caravanning from there. If you are already mid-Strip, feel free to meet me and Mom at Bally's. Ichiban is waaaaaaaay in the back by the monorail station.


I am too table-tag deficient too lazy to try and set up a fancy table thingy for suggestions and sign-ups.

Well, I booked Tuesday-Tuesday, so I'm glad to see some activities as early as Tuesday. Sushi is not my favorite, so that's a maybe. Let's see if I can do this table thing:

The 777 does have sushi, as they cater to the Hawai'i tourist trade. It isn't as good as Ichiban, but it is not bad at all.

Thursday's sushi run will be for lunch (11 am), not dinner as there is already too much going on Thursday night, what with the reception, poker, and bowling.

Yep, the Ichiban has a whole bunch of non-sushi stuff. Their tempura is excellent and the broiled salmon is quite good (I have had the miso style, not the teriyaki). Here is their website.
