GEORGE Galloway, the Respect MP, yesterday stood by his statement that the murder of Tony Blair by a suicide bomber would be "morally justified".

Mr Galloway came under widespread political attack yesterday over a magazine interview where he was quoted as saying the Prime Minister's assassination would be "entirely logical and explicable".

......though he added: "I am not calling for it."

I don't know what the disciplinary process available for MPs is.... but he's got to be a candidate for some kind of censure for that....
he's been abusing his position as MP for his self-deluded, self-promoting egotistical anti-establishment crusade for far too long.....IMO

The world needs more George Galloways, not less. The US, in particular, really needs a Galloway. Michael Moore almost gets three, but he's Canadian....

And Moore is American. Davison, MI (where he was born) is close to Canada, but not close enough to make him Canadian.

You could make a case that some fundamentalists would regard the murder of tony blair as morally justifiable within their own framework of morality....but GG takes it further by agreeing with this moral position.....

let's get this straight....

so you're agreeing with extra-judicial executions? No more due process, we can kill anyone with whom we have a grievence with?

you're agreeing that the assasination of a democratically elected head of government is a legitimate exercise for anyone with a grievence with governmental policies?

i find it hard to believe that you really agree......

It is actually quite easy to believe he thinks this.

This is the same person who said he "cheered as the WTC went down" and thousands were killed.

I have to disagree since I think the world needs less liars and less people who support violence as a means of achieving a political aim.
