While it is not intended to encompass all Israel/Palestine discussion, and other threads may be started in relation to specific events in the region, please limit general political discussion about Israel and Palestine to this thread. How to solve the Israel/Palestine problem. Nuk the entire area. Problem solved. Bonus - the number of nuclear weapons in the world will go down. Now do I win the Nobel peace prize?
 
All of the general Israel/Palestine stuff will be moved here on a going forward basis initially, but if Members lack the self-restraint to refrain from trying to circumvent it by posting general discussion of the subject matter in older threads, those posts will be moved here as well.

are you going to provide evidence for your two claims?

cause you know, that's how things here at JREF work.

when someone makes a claim, they are supposed to be able to defend it with evidence or at least have a link to someone who has evidence.

otherwise, the claim is crap.

...though I must admit, that I can now be accused of a strawman, as I like everyone else knows that there is no evidence for the Palestinian Authority putting gays to death or the Palestinian Authority doing violence upon gays.

nevertheless, these are your claims....false though they may be.

again with your false question.

of course, a gay group should not supporting a state that does violence against gays or puts gays to death.

but the Palestinian Authority does NOT put gays to death, and has NOT done violence against gays. if they had, you would have provided the evidence for it.

this article says that a gay man fled to Israel after being assaulted by some cops for being gay. he stayed in Israel out of fear, and now the Israeli govt. has sent him back.

yikes...I'm not sure which is worse.

being assaulted by some cops for being gay, or being forced back to a country where you fear for your life, by official government order.

one represents the actions of a few thugs, while the other is official national government policy.
