So i ended up looking this up and i have to state that i could find very few websites with much information. What i have has been attained through a few different sites that seem to be single page, or single page, and a lot of other woo.

Now just to get this out of the way

**insert hysterical laughter here**

Anyway, anyone have some links to websites with lots of info on this, either skeptical or woo filled, either one is good.

I'd like to bust out some conversation about this topic as well, but for the moment i am just wanting to get some more info about it.

Thanks for the link but i was looking moreso at it from an American ( or if i could find it Canadian) perspective, but i will browse through the thread, i am sure i will find some awesome stuff.

So i read some of the thread, found some useful information, and i can honestly say i couldn't honestly express my opinion on this movement in a civil manner. Not that it angers me, in fact it is one of the few woo movements that dosn't anger me in the slightest. It is so insane that i cannot do anything other than treat it like the joke fodder it is.

It is simply ridiculous ignoring each and every basic fact about the world. And the thought of people actually standing up in court and talking about the stripes on the flag, almost makes me lose control of my bladder. I mean unless one's goal is to make the judge laugh himself into a coma, this is simply not going to fly.

I mean it would be like my cat telling me " hey i am not listening to you because your wearing a red shirt", well say that all you want, someone is going to get put into a pet carrier.

A lot of that thread is about the USA actually. Especially was only pretending to be English.

Rolfe.

That is a perfect summary of FMOTL

And the source does not really matter - USA, Great Britain, Australia - it is all the same principle. How can I avoid paying my bills? Please help me to drop out of Society but also continue to obtain the advantages of the Society in which I live?. But mostly -

How can I avoid paying my bills?

Isn't that everyone's true ambition, really?

I found this a while back.

Wow. Not even one full page without Teh Stupid rearing its ugly head.

David: Icke
I have never met David and frankly it took me 6 months to swallow his story about the
Lizard people that walk among us. However if it was not for David’s Work I would not have
been able to gain the insights I have today about how the world works and about the
frequency prison we find ourselves in.

Disclaimer from early in the essay (?):
I am not offering Legal Advice in this book just a culmination of thoughts and ideas concerning Law and how people have over come difficulties within it. If you want Legal advice speak with a Lawyer.

(Highlighting mine)

In FOTL-land, aren't lawyers part of TEH EVIL? Isn't their mission to maintain the fiction that statute law is binding, and confuse the clear-eyed, clear-minded, but naive, freeman?

Isn't that everyone's true ambition, really?

I would suggest no it is not. If I rack up bills, for goods and/or services I have received, I will pay them. Some I pay in advance of usage (groceries, rent) some I pay later (getting the paper delivered, gas, electricity). If the majority of people did not adhere to the idea of paying for goods and services, we simply could not function as a race.

Once again my thought that a smilie would be overkill proves to be erroneous. Sorry!

If you ever start wondering what the deal is with hyphen and colons in their names, check out http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intelreport/article.jsp?aid=29

This is thoroughbred woo.

From the article:

It's not easy to follow, but Miller makes his way, via his finding that maritime law applies worldwide because "Earth is a vessel in a sea of space," to the "universal postal union" — the U.S. Postal Service, he seems to mean. Turns out it runs the world. Has since 1873. Ben Franklin was a postmaster. President Grant, too.

A-HA! My grandfather was a postmaster! I am postal royalty! Bow to me!

I am always a bit weary at using personal websites as sources of information, since just like woo websites they can say anything - but I guess the difference here is that at least with personal websites by skeptics they cite references, so you can double check their claims.

So, with that disclaimer in mind, here is a personal website that does a really good job at debunking FMOTL issues:
http://home.hiwaay.net/~becraft/deadissues.htm

Includes some stuff for all the countries that this "movement" has emerged.

Yeah i just started to read up on this stuff and it isn't getting any less funny, these people are absolutely insane.

But finding out Icke is in on this was the icing on the cake.

It all boils down to people who had seen too many t.v. programs where people get in front of a court and just ramble and suddenly they win the case.

I just don't get how this has never worked, yet these people keep trying. Do they honestly think they are going to say their crap and suddenly a judge is going to say " oh well , ya got us, ".

I am starting to delve more into the fact that they don't want to have any obligations to society , yet want to take advantage of it.

This is priceless , if i could find 100 hours of these peoples court proceedings i would be in heaven right about now.

I will read the entire article but i have to comment a bit on the very start.

No one has any more power than anyone else, that makes me giggle, and it seems that the heart of this movement is saying things that are simply and obviously false.

I mean if i was in a dark alley with someone who wanted my money, and had a gun, i could easily use this line of logic with them, then when i am nursing a gaping stomach wound i can think of how good ideas don't always work in the real world.
