I wonder how many truthers, or debunkers for that matter, are familiar with the late great Fred Dibnah, steeplejack, controlled demolitions man, and steam enthusiast?
The reason I bring this up, is that Fred, was one of the last of his breed, he would carry out controlled demolitions on enormous industrial chimney towers, but WITHOUT any explosives.
Fred, was a sentimental old man, he hated destroying chimneys, he saw them as part of Britain's industrial heritage, as a result, he used traditional methods to destroy them, chopping away at the brickwork to unbalance the structure, then placing wooden props in to take the load. Finally he would burn the props, causing the chimney to lose balance and succumb to bending moments in a similar way to a tree being felled.
Because the WTC's succumbed to bending moments, I feel this is relavent.
I also wonder how many truthers, understand what a bending moment is.
What are your thoughts?
