Man... I was sleeping through this court case:

Does anyone know if there have been similar situations? I mean forcing parents to use Ritalin or have their child put in protective custody. I just couldn't believe it when I read the story. Even if it didn't come to full trial, just using the threat of CPS seems crazier to me than ADHD.

Unfortunately, there's no shortage of parents perfectly willing to put their children on all sorts of dangerous medication, in order to avoid doing any difficult parenting.
