I'm not an expert in religion nor do I follow a religion, but I do recall while growing up people telling me that 'god' is neither created nor destroyed and is responsible for everything.
As I went through school, I remember the first thing I learned in chemistry...energy is neither created nor destroyed and is responsible for everything.

Ever think that perhaps evolution is the process of your ‘god’s’ creation??
IMO, the bible and other religious text…(remember, there are other religions and gods besides yours)…seem more to be written in creative fashion. Language was different back then and so was science, which was largely by way of reading the skies to the forces that rage here on earth…trying to make sense of them…much as we do now, but they had limited technology. All much of what they were able to do was observe their immediate surroundings with just their eyes and try to describe things perhaps never seen before.
Calendars back then were also different, so interpreting the timing of biblical events as they were originally written to the way we keep time now would probably calculate a much different result.
And what’s up with the dinosaur thing with people??? Why even bother arguing carbon 14 dating when dinosaur bones are found way far below in the earth than where people bones first start to appear and neither crosses into each other’s layers? Dinosaurs obviously existed in a totally different era of time regardless of how accurate or faulty anyone thinks carbon 14 dating is, which is only good for dating things less than 70,000 years. There’s other methods used for dating dinosaur fossils, because of course carbon 14 dating would fail in accuracy. It’s a failed argument from the start and fails all the way through.
I kind of feel bad for picking on followers of Intelligent Design, because many are people who have had bad luck in their lives, so they are vulnerable for a crutch to hang their demise on. The authors of Intelligent Design should be ashamed of themselves for preying on vulnerable people to spew lies all for the sake of political and monetary gain.
Biology makes sense of evolution and this saves lives. To throw out the teaching of evolution is like throwing out every life saving tactic we’ve developed.

Save yourselves from ignorance and learn the real beauty of your god. Science is not out to debunk the existance of your god. If anything, it brings your god to light.
