Florida Reform School Abuse

I was reading about reform school abuse in Florida, particularly one which was at one point called the Florida Industrial School for Boys, later the Florida School for Boys, and now the Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys. The place has been around since 1900 and a bunch of guys who were there in the 1950's and 1960's have come forward with all sorts of cases of horrendous abuse.

Anybody heard anything similar?
 
Try googling something like "Catholic church paedophilia" and you'll find enough material to keep you going for a while.

Clearly you haven't read your own post. You asked if anyone had heard of similar tales of abuse. I gave you an answer. If the answer is of no use to you, you need to rethink your question.

I have just given this thread a tag. Child abuse is something that is discussed from time to time here. But, as Sledge asks, what is the question?

Because I've heard rumors that as many as 200 boys over the years (The school was open since 1900) may have been murdered...

Some died in accidents, some ran away, but it doesn't explain all 200 people, not even close
 
That doesn't in any way answer what rjh01 asked. Really, what are you after here?

I've heard rumors about the Bermuda Triangle as well.
How about you actually do some learning and learn to use the Google and get back when you have an actually know something about this topic?

Hint: Click on the link from tampabay.com that I already provided via magical Google concerning the INVESTIGATION, ARTICLES and 7 minute long special report DOCUMENTARY that has already been done?
 
Well there were numerous allegations of abuse from students who were placed there.

They all reported rather severe beatings..,
 
These things tend to happen in situations like this. Remember the "boot camp" movement that was supposed to straighten out wayward young lads?
It was only after several deaths and hospitalizations nationwide that they have been abandoned. (at least to my knowledge)
