Merged "Firefighters" for 9-11 Truth

Sniff! Sniff!

I smell Alan Miller.

Whoever wrote that crap is clearly not a fire fighter, and including Nelson's drivel is a major clue.

Same old bunk repackaged.

This is awesome and just as important as ae911Truth and Scholars for 9/11 Truth in my mind. A new recruit of WeAreChangeSeattle, Erik Lawyer, is a firefighter and is now forming Firefighters for 9/11 Truth in conjunction with some of the people down at WeAreChangLA.

I will announce it here when their website is up and running which should be soon.

Strange name, so i looked it up. What are the chances of two people with an unusual name like that in even a city as large as Seattle? TRhe only hit i got was for a real estate agent.

Hmmm...

From what I can tell, there are no actual firefighters affiliated with the site. Anyone got any info on this?

I looked at that site yesterday. They have one post under the "About Us" tab:

http://firefightersfor911truth.org/?cat=7

that seems to be from a fellow named Earl Emerson, who is described as "30 year veteran Seattle Fire Department; Author of Vertical Burn, Into the Inferno, Pyro, Firetrap, and numerous other fire novels."

Those novels are available from Amazon, so Earl Emerson does exist. Perhaps someone in the Seattle area could find out if it's actually him associated with the site.

Erik Lawyer appears to be for real.

Erik's professional experience has always involved devoting his time and energy to more than one full time activity. While attending college at the University of California, Erik worked full time as a firefighter/paramedic with the Sacramento Fire Department. While working in Sacramento, Erik started his own business, Quick Response, and was responsible for marketing, accounting, and supervising several employees. After accepting a position with the Seattle Fire Department, Erik decided to pursue a career as a loan officer with HomeStreet Bank. As a loan officer, Erik had the opportunity to work with numerous individuals and quickly became a member of the President's Club (the top 10% of HomeStreet loan officers). During this time, Erik recognized that although he enjoyed helping people through the entire loan/purchase process, he also wanted to broaden his horizons by working with all aspects of the real estate transaction, not just the financial. This motivated him to pursue a career as a Windermere Real Estate Agent.

Hes also listed as a union member of seattle fire department.

Strange person. He switched from fire fighting to real estate. Money, maybe?

I wonder how seriously he took fire fighting. It isn't a profession, its a life style choice. Something just doesn't smell right about him.

Heres his statement on AE911truth site.

Did Seattle send crew to GZ?
He doesnt mention being part of a recovery team.
Was he on a sightseeing trip?

Through my years as a Seattle Fire Fighter, I have seen numerous buildings collapse due to fire, earthquake (Nisqually) and demolition (on duty during Kingdome, and downtown high rise demolition). All (except for demolitions) have exhibited numerous warning signs, and all lean then collapse toward the weakened side. I went to NYC after 9/11 and walked through the site and debris. WTC 1,2, & 7 had no similarity to any fire collapse, and every similarity to controlled demolition.

Well, as always, the substance is in the claims, not the resume. If all he's doing is making the same old claims about small fires, sounds of explosions, molten steel, etc., then it doesn't matter if he's ever been a firefighter or not; those claims fail for reasons that have nothing to do with the claimant.

ETA: Aha.. Scissorhands put something up while I was composing. Did he bother to say what those "similarities" are? Because a vague generalization doesn't cut it.

And if he doesn't think Ground Zero bears any similarity to fire collapse, it's probably because the entire structure wasn't entirely engulfed, whereas most other smaller buildings that have collapsed were (that I'm aware of, I mean; correct me if I'm wrong, Lefty). The fact that this guy doesn't see any evidence of fire collapse doesn't mean that he saw the fire involved debris and still came to that conclusion; there were over a hundred uninvolved floors, after all.

Furthermore: What about the Twin Towers did not exhibit warning signs? Does he not remember the sounds of "explosions" i.e. large floor and wall segments failing internally? Does he not recall the bowing? Or the upper section of WTC 2 tilting? I think someone needs to direct him towards Gravy's page on the issue.

EDIT... Nevermind...

Johnny Karate also mentioned a website in another thread, but it seems to be a different organization. Between this one you brought up and his example there aren't too many members. Are any of them from the NY fire department?

For what it's worth, I live in the county that apparently has the highest concentration of families of victims of WTC, including firemen. That is Staten Island, a suburb of Manhattan. I know some firemen and meet families of firemen that died at WTC on a regular basis.

There isn't the slightest bit of any truth movement here. All the issues that "Truth Movment" people cherry pick are related to the air we all breathed at WTC and the survivor's benefits.

And even if some member appears to be a real fireman, until he will
speak in public and say something specific that he has first-hand knowledge of and answer polite, relevant questions, a web site with no specific claims means nothing.

I don't think the Nazis tried this hard to convert people onto their side.

His statements suggest to me that he is better suited to sell real estate than to investigate fires, and I would get an attorney to go over any of the papers if he is selling your house for you. Small buildings will sometime collapse without being completely involved. It all depends on where the damage is done.

My brother does both.

Here, firefighters work 24 hours on duty and then 48 off. It's common for them to have second part-time jobs when they're off, and selling real estate is easily something you could do on off days.

almost 100 members...only 7 "firefighters"??

are these guys full time..part time...layed off...or veterans?

I used to put out brush fires....does that make me a firefighter too?

as far as the truthers are concerned..i would say YES!!

=)
