whats wrong with the reasoning,( is it circular?) It seems to be a variant of the orb argument, "x (orbs, feathers) is evidence of (paranormal claim e.g spirits, angels) though x is explainable by another means (dust, from pillows) some of x are probably from this source but not all.

I have long suspected the existence of the uncomfortable fairy.

Every time I get out of my nice warm comfy bed to go to the bathroom at night, by the time I get back, it's turned into a lumpy cold mattress.

I believe that the uncomfortable fairy sprinkles uncomfy dust on it whilst I'm away.

can anyone disprove this?

I once found a whole load of feathers as I was walking along, they were white so obviously from an angel, I think a cat or something had got it though...

I have personally found invisible, immaterial pink unicorn hairs thus the IPU exists.

I personally asked the IPU for hairs proving its existance, and the next day I found pink hair all over the house! All my pink tennis balls had consequently lost their fuzz and turned white, because of the unicorn's magic.
