Fatal Decision (Jack Chick's latest)

Standard story: the vial is allegorical/metaphorical representation of Christ's Blood, Devil inspires doubt, rejection of Christ, horrible death.

Familiar story, repackaged.

DR
So if the devil is the janitor, doesn't that simply mean that the devil's job is cleaning up after god's messes?

and why are there stink lines arround the multicultural masses?

Here I thought vaccines needed to be administered before you contract the disease. Silly me. Leave it to Jack to discover the cure for Ebola.

I don't think it was Ebola, it was something WORSE than Ebola.

He had to come up with some mythical disease that had the bizarre attributes that would make his story "work", such as it is.

For this panel, the part of Dr. Brown will be played by William H. Macy.

I loved the part where he was crying for his lost son (Jesus, presumably).

What a crummy analogy!

"Um...Dad, I'm over here. What are you crying for? This whole thing was YOUR idea, remember?"

They say if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all...

So...

Jack Chick does not blatantly undermine his intended message as much in this story as in most others.

So, Jack, how do I know you aren't the Devil trying to get me to refuse the right religion?

I mean, couldn't your whole story be like the Devil/Janitor sowing the seed of doubt in the patient's mind?

I like it when Doctor Bowers is all smiles as he arrives at the hospital right after the death of his son. That guy really knows how to turn lemons into lemonade!

ANd I love the special cameo from Doctor House.

The analogy of sin to a fatal but non-transmitable virus is pretty weak. Isn't sin supposed to be so virulent and easily transmitted, that everyone's born with it and swims in a sea of it all the time?

Well, they can say that if they wish.
I say: Don't say something behind someone's back you wouldn't say to their face.
Much more realistic.

I think Jack Chick is a deluded ignorant fool who has managed to convince himself that he is right, everyone else is doomed, and thus wages a twisted war against science, progress, and freedom.

Yeah this one was easy.

I note that he's sort of drifted into his overt racist mode again. Is that the devil being played by the illegal alien janitor?
