It’s National Library Week - Facts from the Stacks
In conjunction with National Library Week (April 13-19), the Colfax Public Library will be hosting a program on Monday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. The speaker, Marybeth Buchele, will present “Introduction to Homeopathy.”

Learn this old-new way of healing common ailments like flu, colds, headaches, low energy, stomach upsets and “the blues.” Homeopathy is a safe, effective way of healing to address everyday health problems as well as more chronic conditions.

Some of the ailments homeopathy has successfully addressed are inflammatory conditions, auto immune disease, chronic gastric and intestinal disorders, stomach or head pain, depression, breathing problems and shortness of breath, psychological disorders, allergic disorders, menopausal symptoms, hormonal imbalances, chronic ear infections and more.

Nooooooooo!

I officially and hereby disown any fellow "librarians" at Colfax. They need to change their name to Colfiction!

Usually the poor schmucks organizing events like, "such and such week," are at the mercy of whomever bites. I pity them.

P.S. any chance of doing something about the display of your post? ;)

That better?

You're right, of course, often programs have little or nothing to do with the subject of the week, but with who is willing to work for free or next to free. It's just a shame to have an institution that is supposed to be dedicated to accurate information entertaining such.....silliness.

Sigh.
