Facepalm

I repeat: stupid people. They had no idea what they were talking about. All they did was repeat a bunch of right-wing rhetoric they've heard with no real understanding of what they were being asked. They kept conflating drag with transgender issues. For example, the first woman was asked about danger from drag vs guns and she mentioned the Nashville, TN school shooting where the perpetrator was transgender, not a drag queen. She also complained about the books in schools. It's obvious she's drunk the Kool Aid on that. The last guy interviewed resorted to the "slippery slope" excuse while fumbling for an answer.

Another spoke about not having drag forced on our kids as if people are forcing children to see drag shows or attend drag story times without their parents' permission. Ironically, this is supposedly the party of 'parental rights'.

That rally was cancelled due to a tornado warning. If I were a believer, I'd think maybe God was trying to tell them something.

Yeah, I'd say that I don't exactly trust TYT not to cherrypick the craziest of crazies; except that I happen to also have spent the last week "debating" MAGA sycophants who think the E. Jean Carrol trial doesn't count because it took place in New York; or because a REAL rape victim would have screamed; or who swear up and down that absolutely no evidence was presented at the trial.

And well...now this comes across as much more mainstream...

Just read the comments left by people under articles and YT videos about Trump and the sheer amount of stupid coming from them is mind boggling. It's not just TYT cherry picking the craziest.

It was kinda fun watching the non-speaking friend on the side wondering whether they should interrupt or let them kind go full-on crazy.

I liked the idea that she was "biased" against Trump. Well yes, I think in her situation I would be too.

Maybe every criminal should try that. "Objection - the victim's evidence cannot be trusted because they now hate me"
