Facebook places privacy settings

I'm trying to disable "places" in Facebook. I've found several sites that describe how to do this, but when I go to my privacy settings I'm getting a different looking page without the options needed to do this.

When I login to FB, and go to top of page by my user name, and click on the arrow to the right of "home," I then click "privacy settings." At the top of the privacy settings page there is a heading: Control Privacy When You Post. But my privacy page looks different from the ones at the links below, and I don't see a "customize settings" link (though there is a "custom" radio button). I've tried looking at all the options on this page and I don't see "things I share" or "people here now."

I'm sure I'm doing something idiotic; could someone please enlighten grandpa?

Are you on a tablet? I was trying to help my mother-on-law delete things on Facebook but after some fustration I figured out that I needed to do this on their Windows computer.

No, I'm on a Mac (10.7.4) and Firefox 14...also tried Safari and Chrome.

Looking at the link below, I can't get to the page shown in the second image (choose y our privacy settings with sidebar).

Can I block people from tagging me at a location?
There isn't a specific setting to block people from tagging you in a post that includes a location. Instead, you can:
Turn on Profile (Timeline) Review to approve all tags before they show up on your profile (timeline) and/or
Remove tags from location stories that you don’t want to be included in

Which sounds like a real pain as you would have to approve/reject all tags (e.g. photos, general statuses, etc)
