Tom Butler who runs a woo outfit called AAEVP showed up to rewrite this Wikpedia article on EVP from a pseudoscientist POV.
Here is his proposed rewrite:
http://aaevp.com/articles/articles_about_evp11.htm
As soon as I challenged his fallacious "the burden of proof is on the skeptics" argument, he backed off and started making excuses for why mainstream science is biased and won't take EVP seriously.
However, the Wiki article (as it stands) is still a mess and needs some consensus to bring it to NPOV. For example, it says there is no record of Edison experimenting with a device to talk to the dead, then a paragraph later, it claims he did many such experiments. Anyone familiar with Wikipedia (and with some energy to spare) is welcome to lend a hand.
