WTF?

As if bottled water was not woo-worthy enough, now they claim detoxification? What's next, Evian Meters? I haven't gotten too far into the site yet, but there's a naked woman making angels in the snow, and a few clicks later I actually heard "fountain of youth" spoken in one of the Flash movies.

Yes, I heard it too, but saying "fountain of youth" followed by "age is just a state of mind - recapture your youth" doesn't really count as advertising fraud under U.S. laws. It's hyperbole. Although I will agree that it is slightly misleading.

Yes, I heard it too, but saying "fountain of youth" followed by "age is just a state of mind - recapture your youth" doesn't really count as advertising fraud under U.S. laws. It's hyperbole. Although I will agree that it is slightly misleading.

I didn't mean to imply that the site was fraudulent; but I do find it unethical. I didn't see any outright bogus claims, but it seems clear that they are implying that Evian will do things that I highly doubt it will do.

It reminds me of cosmetics ads I've seen targeted at women where it is implied that the products have magical anti-aging and other special properties. I'm sure this can be done without breaking any trade laws.
