Again, the terrorists have won: http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_9725077

Hundreds of police, firefighters, paramedics and even utility workers have been trained and recently dispatched as "Terrorism Liaison Officers" in Colorado and a handful of other states to hunt for "suspicious activity" — and are reporting their findings into secret government databases.

This is gold: Denver police Lt. Tony Lopez, commander of Denver's intelligence unit says "We don't snoop into private citizens' lives. We aren't living in a communist state."

ROTFL!!! What in the world makes you think THAT, Tony?

"surveillance is a precursor to terrorist activity," said Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Steve Garcia.

No kidding. Then what are them Feds doing? Schmurveillance?

Dear, to think that I went to AZ with a camera in my shoulder and asked for directions at Skyharbor.

This kind of statement and mindset always irks me. I'd like to see some proof of that statement. How many terrorist incidents have been shown to have been preceded by surveillance?

How the hell are they going to determine that? Surely that's a matter of opinion and personal taste?

I hope part of their training includes reading these articles and documents:

If they are a wearing a wikipedia T-shirt that is probably a fairly good hint.
