The recent victory with Walgreens has lead me to email my pharmacy CVS. I sent them basically the same information. I also pointed out that pharmacists are more highly rated for trustworthiness than physicians. Having a book that touts dangerous medical advice even near where the pharmacist is, is just plain dangerous.

I don't know if it will do any good or not. I plan to check out several other chains in the area, including Brookes and the local Walgreens. I'm going to switch to Walgreens if the CVS and Brookes does not change their practice with books offering dangerous advice. Homeopathy I'm not happy with, but at least it can't kill you unless you refuse traditional medicine also. In Europe the Homeopathic section is usually quite large, you live with it. But, a pharmacy should not offer BAD advice, or advice that will hurt you. MOst customers will think a book like that has the ok of the pharmacist if it is so close to where he/she does their job.

I wonder if we could get a listing of emails for most of the major pharmacies? That would make it easy for lots of people to email their support for these changes. I'd also like an email for Walgreens so I could thank them for looking out for their customers good health.

Jeff has a RANDI BUNNY"!!!!! for his avatar! I love it!!!

Remember Jeff, Mr.Randi does not eat rabbit! I took this policy myself after reading how it is "professional courtesy" not to eat your fellow magic performers. I may only know 2 magic tricks, but I respect the profession!

I really do like that bunny. :) I was offered one as a pet, but I was shot down by the "house master."

Oh well. One can dream...

A real bunny would chew on the hat, and just poop in it. There is a reason bunnies are rarely used by magicians these days.

Doves are big. Lance Burton uses doves. He also uses his own personal dog in the act, which makes me wonder if he gets to write off Alpo on his income tax! When I saw the Pendraggons they used their very large fluffy dog, and thier pet cat! I'm not going to tell you what my cats would say to appearing every night in a magic act. It would cut into their scheduled pre bedtime naps!

I'm busy at the office, but I'd be glad to call and write these companies to make them (more) aware.

If someone could centralize their information I'd really appreciate it :)
