I was wondering if anyone had read the book "Dream Telepathy" that described the telepathy experiments in the 70's and 80's conducted at Maimondes Medical Centre in New York.
Does anyone know what the main criticisms were of this research ?
I think the dream telepathy experiments are interesting because the results were quite better than the ganzfeld research done today. Particularly, a series of experiments were performed where the "sender" was not only instructed to view the target picture during the session, but also engage themselves in activity related to the target picture. For example, if the target picture was a scene of someone standing in the rain with an umbrella, the sender was instructed to go into a shower room with an umbrella and turn on the showers. This sounds bizzare but the results of this series of experiments were apparently much better than the normal sender method of only viewing the picture.
