This article at wired.com is about a strange guy who built a "castle" out of huge blocks of coral. It is a pretty impressive feat for one guy working alone, but wait! He was actually assisted by a high concentration of the earth's magnetic energy, according to the kook who guided the author around the grounds. In a previous article, this author de-bunked some of the legends about the fountain of youth. Here, she presents dowsing in a completely un-critical manner. She even claims that her aches and pains from driving dissappeared while she was there, and came back when she left.

No, really... it's true! The guy who built the coral castle really did figure out a way to harness the Earth's magnetic energy. Just check out these pictures:

You can clearly see the strange pyramid device that he used to focus the magnetic "vortexes" which lifted the slabs. In the second picture, He is clearly shown gripping some kind of control lever on the highly-advanced "flux capacitor" lifting device he had built from scratch. The structure of the device has clearly been constructed using space age polymers!

Say it with me... ewwwwww, ahhhhhhh.

Is it too late to declare WIRED irrevocably irrelevant, or was that done years ago?

Aren't you supposed to get high one day, and just wander off? That day can't come soon enough.

Let me guess, you're somebody's sock puppet here to provide a straw man to quote as an 'evil skeptic' in some other forum.

Geeez - this is *OLD NEWS* people. Leonord Nimoy educated my about the mysterious CORAL CASTLE on "In SEARCH OF..." back in the '70s.

We all know that Mr. Spock can't be wrong!!!
:) ;) :D

The telescope is perfectly aligned to the North Star, and on the first day of winter, sunlight pours directly through the scope's aperture, according to Ramirez.
The Sun rises in the North in Florida? Cool!
