Michele Bachmann (R) Minnesota 6th district, for her call to investigate anti-American members of congress (and for being noxious in general) RCP

Saxby Chambliss (R) Georgia US senate, for the incredibly slimy campaign he ran against Max Cleland in 2002 RCP

That campaign made our news over here, I was flabbergasted when I heard one of the adverts. It's hard for someone in the UK to appreciate how condemning the label of "godless" can be in the USA.

We will know long before the polls close where I live who is the new president-elect. If McCain doesn't have it by the time Montana is declared, he's screwed because there is no way he will flip the 70-odd ECVs in Washington, Oregon and California, and Hawaii will more than cancel Alaska.

But we still need to be rid of a few Republican congress critters out this way. All the more reason to vote.

The only way for Obama to lose at this point is for his supporters not to vote in big enopugh numbers that it cannot be stolen.

And the only way he can fail as president is to be saddled with enough crybaby righties in Congress to block his measures or make them unworkable.

Damn it! VOTE!
