Again, to all those who have generously offered to kick in a few bucks to transport Jim Fetzer to his place of execution, I can't thank you enough.

My PayPal account is up and running. I will be happy to PM anyone who wishes to contribute to this important anti-pollution effort.

Our goal is $392.00

Am I the only one who thinks this is weird?

We've got an idiot, Jim Fetzer, who believes no humans have landed on the Moon.

Who believes the JFK Zapruder film is a fake.

And who believes in beam weapons and all manner of nonsense about 9/11.

People like Fetzer need to be tossed aside - not given a soapbox. And then to top it off - JREFers are being asked to buy this fool's airplane ticket? What?

This makes not a bit of sense to me. And Fetzer must be laughing his ass off.

Well, it IS weird, Conspi. We have no budget on Hardfire to provide transportation expenses (I don't even get reimbursed for my parking expenses). I mentioned that Fetzer wanted to appear on the show, but required a plane ticket. That ended my original round of negotiations with him. Then, several JREFers said that the thought of Mark exposing Fetzer was so appealing, they'd kick in for the plane ticket. It's not something that I would have thought of asking for.

A little more information in the OP for those of us who can't keep up with hundreds of threads to keep up with the current storyline would be quite appreciated!

Just for us n00bs who have to piece together what's going on here...

If you want your parking expenses paid, just fill out form NWO-TP-287-86P, in triplicate, and submit it to Bunker D, at the White House. Don't forget to sign blocks 17, 33, 44, and 53A and D, and include a copy of your loyalty oath.

And has anyone talked to you about your TPS reports?

It's no good. As I've explained in the past, all my money from the Impossibly Vast Conspiracy is going, inexplicably, to a Mexican wrestler. I'm sick about it.

I know what you mean. Last month my bonus was sent to one of the Leo Wanta slush funds. I have been meaning to talk to accounting about that...

Cool, Ron (oh and call me Dave if you'd like).

It's just odd. I guess I'm just looking at this from a different POV.

We're the power. Not Fetzer. Fetzer's a crazy lunatic, looking for soapboxes to push his idiotic agendas. From my POV, Fetzer should be begging us (you, Hardfire, etc.) for the chance to promote his lunacy from a public platform. It's his books he wants to sell. It's his fans and donaters and followers he wants to impress. If they believe in him so deeply and are so confident in his pronouncements - SHOULDN'T THEY BE THE ONES FRONTING HIS SPEAKING AND DEBATING FEES?

Another thing. I think Hardfire is a terrific thing and I'd like to see it picked up by advertising as a permanent debate platform. That assessment is due mostly to your skills as a debate moderator. You were so deft in the 2 debates I saw - Jameson and the LC boys - that I never even guessed at your politics! :) Which is terrific.

Maybe you can get sponsors? That means ads, but that's the tried and true path.

Another thought. Screw Fetzer. Have a Hardfire presentation, with you and Mark and whomever else in a panel - and present the 9/11 material the way WE want to do it. No twoofers. Do it as a series of half-hour shows until everything has been covered to a reasonable degree of satisfaction.

Twoofers of varying stripes muck things up. You know what Fetzer will do if he ever gets his shot on Hardfire? He'll take the show where he wants it to go. Remember - he is extremely experienced at this. It's not like tenderfooted twentysomething white guys who have limited life experience. Fetzer's an old dog - been at this a long time.

Just musing. Carry on....

Fetzers making the debunkers PAY for their transgressions.

Hate to bring this up because I'm all for contributing to the fund (at the moment I'm in my slow season and paying bills) But during the Greening interview on Fetzers show didn't Fetzer invite and offer to pay all of Greenings expenses to some Woo convention to meet Judy and the gang? IIRC it included lodging, and transportation? BTW greening didn't seem too interested and had to clear it with his family and calendar and everything.

Welcome to the JREF subforum on Conspiracy Theories Flameowl. I hope you find what you are looking for here.

Yes I suspect Fetzer has a bigger pool of money to dip into when it comes to getting someone to a "truth" rally or event. They don't however, seem to generous when it comes to themselves getting on someone elses show.

Did anyone hear the Rick Wood's Audiomartini show from March 27? Mike Berger from 911truth.org was his guest. For someone not steeped in the CT claims, Rick did a pretty good job of countering his claims.

Dave, I think that Mark will be able to restrain Fetzer. And it's my show--it'll go where I want it to go, dammit! Seriously, I believe we have an opportunity here to discover what he really believes, as opposed to what he merely professes.
Your idea regarding an all-debunker show is first-rate. I'd love to showcase guys like the Doc, R. Mackey, Apathoid, and other outstanding debunkers who perform here regularly (please, don't be offended if I neglected to mention you by name). Anyone who lives in or is capable of visiting NYC, please let me know if you're available. We'll try to arrange something.

I think Fetzer is not running on all cylinders. I sent him an email and suggested he live up to the definition of scholar, and he could add Charlie Sheen to his group.

Keith,

Do you always make up your mind without looking at the evidence? That
doesn't sound very rational to me. In fact, if one side has studied
the evidence and arrived at conclusions based upon it, while the other
side is going on the basis of its "gut" instincts, I would say that one
side is rational in its beliefs and other side is either ignorant or at
least cognitively impaired. It doesn't know what it's talking about.
And that, Keith, appears to describe you! Thanks for writing, but why
don't you actually look at the evidence and act less like a buffoon?

Jim

I have yet to find any facts emanating from our chief scholar and 9/11 kook. He should be in a hospital, not on the air.

However, if someone does meet up with the chief scholar, maybe this email will help understand how devoid of facts Fetzer is, and how to prepare for mentally ill scholars, past due for a mental check up.

Keith,

You appear to be unfamiliar with the basics of the case, so here is a simple
summary of some of what you need to know to figure out what happened here.
That steel melts at 2,800*F, that the max temp of jet-fuel based fires is
only 1,800*F, that UL certified the steel used in the towers to 2,000*F for
up to six hours before it would even significantly weaken, when the fires
burned only for less than an hour (South Tower) and about ninety minutes
(North Tower) at low temperatures because it was oxygen-starved, means the
steel neither melted nor weakened. The impact of the planes was negligible
because they had sophisticated load-redistribution capabilities built into
them. As Frank DeMartini observed, the impact of a plane on the buildings
would be like sticking a pencil through mosquito netting! Even THE 9/11
REPORT itself conceded that the towers fell in about 10 seconds, which is
the same as a grand piano in free fall would have taken, if it had been re-
leased from the top of one of them at the same time it began to collapse,
which would have been impossible under any scenario other than controlled
demolition removing lower floors before falling mass impacted with them.
So some source of energy other than the planes or the fires was necessary
to bring the buildings down. You can actually see massive explosions on
floors at the start of collapse before they were enveloped with clouds of
debris, fine dust created by pulverizing the concrete flooring material,
and steel beams are thrown outward and even upward! You would expect to
see clouds of debris from the ground up when the buildings fell, but in
this case, they were exploding from the top down! This effect only have
been the result of previously positioned demolitions exploding in series.
That conclusion, supported by multiple kinds of evidence, including even
observational evidence (see "9/11 Revisited", for example), receives ad-
ditional reinforcement from the pools of molten metal found at the sub-
basement level of all three buildings. (Don't forget WTC7, which was
hit by no aircraft, only incurred very modest fires, and was "pulled"
at 5:20 PM following the suggestion of Larry Silverstein.) It really
doesn't matter if structural engineers are afraid to speak out because
they think they will be ridiculed or otherwise punished by the loss of
funding, for example. Even they cannot possibly violate natural laws!
Members of the society have conducted their own experiments with cell
phones and your claims contadict their findings. As to whether or not
these pilots could have handled these aircraft or whether cell phone
calls were possible, please see the studies on our "Resources" page,
which were authored by a mathematician and computer scientist and by
a pilot who is also an aeronautical engineer. If you are sincere, I
would be glad to continue corresponding, but if not, let's let it go.

Jim

I decided Jim would never understand he had no facts about 9/11, and will never find one to support his ideas. I was laughing too hard to reply after reading his "resources" page.

you coudl take a up a fund to fly us out there, lol
Now that is something (the fund) to which it's possible I'd contribute. Nothing to Fetzer, from me. I cannot donate money to someone whose aim is to befuddle.

I don't think anyone has really done this yet, from the good side. From our side. The kooks have all kinds of produced videos and so forth - we have what? At this point in time, there is a void and I believe it needs to be filled. A series of debunker panel discussions, complete with whatever visual aids are appropriate, that lays out the "mountain of evidence" supporting the conclusion that 9/11 was NOT an Inside Job.

This JREF forum is steeped in Big Hammers on the subject. I'd of course like to see James Randi on a segment too, because 9/11 Inside Job is, for all its pretenses, still Woo. And Randi eats woo for breakfast.

I envision Ron in every show as moderator, with probably 2 specialist debunkers. Maybe Gravy on every show, or nearly so. There are some major leaguers here who, because of their expertise in avionics, architecture, engineering, piloting and so forth who would be the guest specialist debunker for that show.

But the point is, what series of good, solid, finely presented videos can actual truth seekers on 9/11 access? Right now it's bits and pieces, all over the board.

An opportunity has presented itself, and I can't think of a better vehicle of revelation than Ron and his Hardfire program.

You know I am from the UK, and little known around here but if given the chance I would jump on this. Not just for the inevitable TV fame (come to papa!) but the fact that I'll be trying to visit the US again this year and Canada to see friends, and even though I haven't read as much as Mark, and am not as intelligent as Mackey I'd love to just meet you guys :)
