Because I have some questions.

1. How do I make my own custom image in the header, and where do I put it?
2. Is it possible to create a Wordpress style from a template?

1) Yes, you can insert an image, with the CSS stylesheet. Here's an example:
#masthead {background: url(starfield.jpg) no-repeat right top;}
2) You can create any sort of style you want, with CSS. If you don't know CSS well enough to create your own, there are plenty of free templates available. The best place to find links to them, and general WordPress advice and tips, is WordLog
