A broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barret
...well, not Tiffany's, but I was thinking about eating (as anyone who has met me knows, I do think about that a bit...
) and Thursday morning looks like the only time that the Forumites present can congregate at breakfast (Friday and Saturday there should be food available as part of your Conference fee and I think also Sunday morning). And eating at a Buffet in Vegas is one of those things people do.
Supposedly, in the few reviews I read, the Riveria Buffet is somewhat better than average, nothing spectacular but better than the Stardust. Breakfast is served 7-11am and costs $10.99 plus tax (estimated $11.86). And unlike the Stardust, they will take reservations for 10 or more; otherwise you get seated where they want you to sit.
My thought is that the Wednesday arrivals (those who can crawl out of bed after Wednesday night) can meet for breakfast at, say 8am (does that sound ok?) and go in as a gorup (I will take the responsiblity of reservations). This allows us to be seated in the same area and gives us the ability to move around from table to table without much difficulty, meeting additional folks.
Need your thoughts on this. If most of you don't plan to be awake by 8am, then we'll pass, but it seems like a good chance to mingle before the mob of TAM attendees descend upon us.
Awaiting your opinions and appetites...
