Did Nostradomus predict the tsunami?

I haven't seen any Nostradomus quotes about the tsunami. The Buzz shows "Nostradomus" spiked at 16% increase on Yahoo and "Bible Code" spiked over 300% (so did HARRP, but I'm not sure what that is).

So, did all the silliness from the 09/11 Nostradomus prophesis kill it? Or is it that Nostradomus didn't predict much on the eastern world? Or has has Bible Code replaced Nostradomus?

What do you think? Is Nostradomus just as popular but only in certain countries or certain situations? Is some woo-woo stuff being debunked just being replaced by more woo-woo crap? Are sceptics making progress?

He's not in vogue right now, he sort of lost popularity after 1999 when the world didn't end.

Coincidence

In the January 05 issue of Car & Driver, there is a picture of a truck that crashed into a building. The caption is about things you don't expect. One of the items in the caption is a "number 9 tsunami".

I would be very surprised to learn that in all of Nostradamus, there is not at least one such phrase as "the great wave" or something similar, which believers will pounce on and then proceed to shoehorn the rest of the quatrain's references that clearly have nothing to do with what just happened.

Quatrains with 'wave' in them:

I.29
When the fish that travels over both land and sea
is cast up on to the shore by a great wave,
its shape foreign, smooth and frightful.
From the sea the enemies soon reach the walls.

III.6
Within the closed temple the lightning will enter,
The citizens within their fort injured:
Horses, cattle, men, the wave will touch the wall,
Through famine, drought, under the weakest armed.

VI.5
Very great famine through pestiferous wave,
Through long rain the length of the arctic pole:
Samarobryn one hundred leagues from the hemisphere,
The will live without law exempt from politics.

You'd have to be pretty desperate to claim any of them as a hit.
