Just wondering, every troofer I encounter claims he testified under oath, but I have been unable to confirm this. This page says that all testimony in 2004 was under oath, but Mineta testified in 2003. Can anyone clarify this?

The entire transcript of his testimony is available at the 9/11 Commission website and he doesn't at any point swear an oath.

Thanks. Not that I think he was lying, just wrong.

They seem to bring up the oath thing when they're trying to put Mineta's testimony up against Cheney's. Of course it never seems to have occured to them that they could both be wrong.

Such simple creatures.

Since when can you not be mistaken when testifying under oath? We had a case here were a guy testified under oath that he saw a policeman shoot an unarmed man. The other 10-12 witnesses all said that the shootee was armed with a basebat. Just because the first one was wrong, doesn't mean he was lying (in this case he simply misinterpreted what he was seeing and assumed that the silver bat was actually a silver stripe on the guy's clothing.)

I'm afraid I couldn't find any source saying Minea was under oath during his testimony.

That doesn't tell us wether he was under oath or not, however.

That doesn't change anything in the Mineta case.
